What is the curriculum?
The curriculum includes language & literature, humanities, science & mathematics, fine arts & technology, and recreation & health.
A core program qualifies students for high school graduation.
An expanded program prepares students for college admission.
Can I see the materials?
Yes, the materials can be purchased from our bookstore.
How does it work?
Within defined boundaries, students research topics of their choice, at their own pace, using multimedia software, the internet, and other resources.
They report to faculty online daily and live internet chat as needed.
This is a natural and proven way to learn.
What about records?
We record classes, grades, and credits on conventional transcripts.
How long does it take to graduate?
Six school grades need not take six calendar years to complete if you work at it.
One year is the minimum requirement.
Who issues the diplomas?
High school diplomas are awarded by Dennison Academy.
What are the computer system requirements?
PC or Mac with DVD multimedia capability.
Can I get a real education in a virtual world?
Actually, you get a real education in the real world.
Only part of that reality is now the internet.
Can I communicate with my classmates?
Yes, using state of the art, online communications software, you can chat and exchange messages, files, e-mail, and more--in real time.
What does it cost?
Tuition is $3000/semester (six months access).
Materials are not included.
The average tuition for private secondary schooling in America is over $10,000/year.
To keep our tuition so affordable, it must be prepaid by check or money order, and there are no refunds or credits.

About the Faculty
Larry Dennison graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in chemistry and was honored by the Education Alumni Association.
He holds the California general secondary Life Diploma teaching credential.
He worked in Los Angeles public schools fifteen years before establishing Dennison Academy.
He has traveled the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Larry enjoys stargazing, classical music, and action/adventure/sci-fi films at state of the art theaters with the THX turned up.
Kevin Hawkins graduated from Dennison Academy.
He was a shift supervisor in the technical support division of a national internet service provider and a computer consultant before becoming Dennison's Systems Administrator.
The "Hawk" lives for programming with pizza nearby.
Kevin plays chess, rides a motorcycle, collects movies, and is a student of the martial arts.
Midnight and Apache, Felis domesticus, keep us company, help with typing, and supervise our campus.
